Denial as a Tactic

Winning an argument by using denial -
Deny the facts in the hope no one will check. It’s amazing how well this works.

Examples of using denial to win or hinder the other person’s argument:

Question:
Do you know “insert name”?
Answer:
“No. I don’t.”

The Conversation stops because they say they don’t know the person even if they do.

The Denial:
“Women don’t make less money than men.”

It is a fact that men do make more money, but by denying those facts they literally stop the argument before it starts. Instead of talking about how to make sure women get equal pay, we end up discussing an out right lie.
